Mecki Kosin was born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany. She has owned a tour company and has organized many tours through Europe and the United States. Mecki is the only registered CTC (Certified Travel Counselor) in Quincy

Sabrina Schafer has been with the Travel House since 2001. She is the office manager. Sabrina has lived in the North East and the Midwest, and has traveled throughout the United States, Jamiaca, Punta Cana, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta. She has also cruised the Caribbean and Canada/New England. Sabrina has been a Disney Expert since 2002.

I began working in the travel industry over 30 years ago. My first position was with an international airline consolidator in St Louis for 8 years. I moved over to a corporate agency while in St Louis for 1 year before moving to the Quincy area to sell leisure travel at The Travel House of Quincy. I also worked at Bergner’s Travel and Town and Country Travel in Quincy. I have cruised, traveled to the US Virgin Islands, Mexico, and have visited different US States. I still enjoy the challenge of finding the perfect trip at the perfect price for people who are ready to see the world.

The road less traveled has always been on Amy’s radar…always wondering what is just over that next hill. Her first international trip was in junior high, when she ventured into Canada and its Quetico National Park, with a student canoe trip. Amy has since travelled abroad to Italy, Ireland, Turks & Caicos and the Bahamas, and to 36 states in the USA. This coming year, she will knock out five more states (including Alaska) and add Mexico to her growing list of travels. Amy joined The Travel House in December of 2024, as a brand-new travel advisor, wondering why she had never considered this career earlier in life. She loves to explore and experience life off the beaten path, from a local’s perspective. Whether joining in on a tomato fight in Spain and working with Elephants in Thailand or finding a perfect beachside Caribbean resort and seeing the vast array of beauty, here in the United States, Amy is your gal!

Carmen Hummer-Echternkamp has recently joined our staff. She has travelled to many places in the US such as Wisconsin Dells, California, Seaworld, Nashville, Smoky Mountains, Hawaii and both Disneyland and Disneyworld. She has also travelled to Mexico and cruised. She is a huge Disney fan and can help you with any kind of Disney trip. She is in the office limited days and hours since she also owns her own business. You can generally find her in the office Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 to 5.

Sheryl Bevill Stratton is once again at the Travel House of Quincy. She was the original owner when Mecki bought it from her. She has a huge amount of travel knowledge, because she travels so much!
